Build-A-Bear announced on their website Thursday morning that due to the large response.
"Per local authorities, we cannot accept additional Guests at our U.S. Build-A-Bear Workshop locations due to crowd and safety concerns," said the company.
The lines were present at Richland Mall in Waco, as seen in a post and video shared on Facebook.
The company said that they gave vouchers to guests in lines that they could redeem for a future purchase.
