SAN SABA COUNTY, Texas — The San Saba Sheriff’s Office warned the public of confirmed rabies cases found in the county on Tuesday.
According to the Facebook post, The Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed that a fox found at the 300 block of County Road 112 in the San Saba County has tested positive for rabies.
The fox did encounter one person and several cats before being euthanized and tested. The San Saba Sheriff’s Office warns the public to be cautious and do not approach wild or stray animals, according to the Facebook post.
