Two people were pronounced dead after a fatal three-vehicle crash in Burnet on Tuesday.
According to the Department of Public Safety, at 12:07 a.m. on Tuesday, 61-year-old Sylvano Sanchez was traveling northbound and crossed the center strip entering southbound lanes at US 183 in Burnet.
He hit two vehicles when he crossed the center strip.
The passenger of the second vehicle, a 13-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, 56-year-old Sheldon Johnson was transported to Seton Medical Center in Williamson County.
The driver of the third vehicle, 58-year-old Sharon Johnson was also pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the third vehicle, 57-year-old Sherryl Orsak was transported to Seton Medical Center as well.
The two vehicles that were hit were following each other, according to DPS.
This is still an active investigation.
