After six years in the minors, former Baylor standout Nate Orf got his shot at the show.

Orf spoke with reporters before Monday's game against Minnesota and he recalled trying to get into the Milwaukee Brewers organization after going undrafted out of Baylor.

"They asked me if I'd sign for $1000 and I told them I'd sign for a Snickers," recalled Orf with a laugh, "I talked myself out of $500."

For $500 Milwaukee got a second baseman that hit over .300 the past two seasons with AAA Round Rock causing fans to start a campaign to get him called up "#FreeOrf."

His first stint at second base didn't go as he hoped as he started the game 0-4 at the plate, but Orf almost hit a grand slam against Minnesota.
