A rider is in serious condition after losing control of their motorcycle in Killeen Wednesday morning.
The Killeen Police Department said the rider was driving westbound on 1-14 near Rosewood Bridge when they lost control. The call came in at 8:38 a.m. and police responded immediately.
This was a single vehicle accident. The rider was not wearing a helmet when they lost control and were ejected from the motorcycle. The rider had major head trauma and was flighted to Baylor Scott & White in Temple, according to Killeen Police. They are in serious condition.
