A woman killed in a motorcycle accident Wednesday has been identified.
Harker Heights police said that Loretta Townsend, 58, died from her injuries sustained in an accident that happened in the 100 block of East Central Texas Expressway Wednesday morning.
Police said that Townsend was riding her motorcycle eastbound and was trying to make a right turn onto a private drive when she lost control and caused the bike to turn and flip over.
She was transported to Baylor Scott and White in Temple, where she later died from her injuries.
