The College Station Police Department said that a College Station ISD bus collided with a blue Ford F150 truck on Monday.
Police said that the school bus was driving northbound in the 2220 block of Rio Grande Blvd., attempting to turn westbound onto Harvey Mitchell Parkway on a green light signal. The truck continued eastbound, dismissing the red light and hitting the bus.
The school bus was carrying a driver and 37 passengers.
Ten people were transported to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. Two of the people were from the truck; the others were from the school bus.
Police issued a citation for disregard of a red light to the driver of the truck.
