The Texas Department of Public Safety said that two people have died in a car accident on U.S. 79, about 2 miles southwest of Milano.
Troopers said that a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling eastbound, and a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling westbound. They said the Chevrolet crossed the center stripe and struck the Dodge head-on. The accident happened Tuesday morning.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet was identified as 33-year-old Antonio Reyes of Georgetown. The driver of the Dodge was identified as 79-year-old William Hobbs.
