The Texas Department of Transportation said they will begin a construction project to increase safety along FM 933, northwest of Waco on May 14.
The project will build safety and end-treatments, for culvert-ends at cross drainage locations under the roadway and at adjoining private driveways as well as adding guardrail on some larger culverts and bridges along FM 933 from US 84 in Bellmead to FM 3051 at Gholson and from FM 308 at Elm Mott north to Spur 1858 ( Tokio Rd.)
The 7-mile project is being undertaken by TTG Utilities at a cost of $1million.
The project is scheduled to be completed in the winter of 2018.
