The Killeen Police Department said they are investigating after a vehicle crashed into Killeen Mall early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to Killeen Mall around 1:55 a.m. in reference to a major crash.
When officers arrived they found a 2014 Silver Nissan Altima inside the mall.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the Nissan was traveling and speeding southbound on Becker Ave. when the driver attempted to turn westbound onto Illinois Ave.
The vehicle left the roadway towards the mall parking lot striking a landscape fixture.
The driver continued to drive southbound striking north doors just west of Burlington Coat Factory and continued to travel inside the mall striking furniture and kiosks.
The driver was transported to Metroplex with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
