The McLennan men’s golf team is tied for the fourth-place spot with Dodge City (Kansas) in the latest NJCAA Division I Golf Rankings. McLennan and Dodge City each received 64 points in this week’s poll.
Indian Hills (Iowa) remained in the top spot with 80 points followed by Midland (Texas) in second with 75 and Central Alabama in third with 69.
Along with McLennan and Midland, other NJCAA Region V squads in the rankings are: Odessa, eighth, 44 points; Western Texas, 11th, 32 points; New Mexico, 12th, 31 points; and Ranger, 17th, 15 points. Jacksonville is receiving votes.
McLennan, Midland, Odessa and Western Texas will represent Region V at the NJCAA Division I Men’s Golf National Championship May 15-18 at The Rawls Course in Lubbock. This marks McLennan’s 16th consecutive national tournament appearance.
