A local bar is lending a helping hand to a woman who is suffering from cataracts in both eyes and is causing her to lose her vision.
The woman identified as Maria Aleman needs surgery. She does have insurance but she needs to come up with a large portion of the copay before they can start treating her.
The bar will hold an auction and a pool and dart tournaments to help Maria.
The event will be on May 6 at 12 p.m. at Papa Joe's.
