The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s golf team held steady and is ranked #6 in the West Region in the second NCAA Division III Regional Rankings of the 2017-18 spring season. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is ranked #1 in the region. George Fox University is ranked second, Whitman College is ranked third, Southwestern University is #4 and Pomona-Pitzer ranks fifth.

The Cru women are coming off a win in the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament earlier this week. UMHB topped U.T.-Tyler on the second playoff hole to win the program’s 11th ASC title. The Cru also clinched an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Championships with that win. The 2018 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf National Championships will be played May 8-11 at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.

The NCAA Regional Rankings are used to determine selections and seedings for the NCAA Division III National Championships. Those rankings are based on a variety of criteria, including stroke average, head-to-head competition and tournament results.
