The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor softball team’s weekend series against Howard Payne University has been moved up one day due to the threat of rain in Central Texas on Saturday. The Cru and Yellow Jackets will now open the series with a 2 pm doubleheader on Thursday. The two teams will close out the weekend with a 2 pm single game on Friday at Dee Dillon Field. The CHAMPS games scheduled as part of the weekend will now be played Thursday night at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm or immediately following the completion of game two of the softball doubleheader.
The Cru is currently 24-10 overall and 18-6 in American Southwest Conference play on the season. Howard Payne is 8-24-2 overall and the Yellow Jackets are 5-19 in the ASC on the year.
