Baylor women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey will not travel with her team after the death of her unborn granddaughter on Thursday night.

The Baylor Athletic Office said Mulkey's daughter, Makenzie Fuller announced earlier this week she and her husband Clay Fuller, a former Baylor football player, were expecting their first child, named Scout Marie Fuller.

Doctors said Scout had an underdeveloped heart and Turner Syndrome, causing her to have one X chromosome and suffer from developmental issues.

Mulkey will not traveling to UCLA with the team and will remain with family at this time.

Associate head coach Bill Brock will lead the Lady Bears until Mulkey's return.
