Austin ranked No. 2 in nation for best value hotels

TripAdvisor the world's largest travel site has named the city of Austin as the number two city in the U.S. for the best hotel values. 

Lone Star Court in nearby Austin was named one of the best value hotels in the country providing guests with 33% savings.

According to TripAdvisor travelers can save between 22% and 45% to all of the top-rated (rated 3.5 or better) best value hotels. 

Based on traveler reviews and TripAdvisor price comparison of 200 booking sites for the lowest seasonal hotel rates, the top 10 include:

  1. Hotel Hive- Washington, D.C. (45% of savings)
  2. Lone Star Court- Austin, Texas (33% of savings)
  3. Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort- Tucson, Arizona (22% of savings)
  4. Coconut Waikiki Resort- Oahu, Hawaii (40% of savings)
  5. Quarter House Resort- New Orleans, Louisiana (40% of savings)
  6. Inn of the Governors- Santa Fe, New Mexico (25% of savings)
  7. The Point Orlando Resort- Orlando, Florida (45% of savings)
  8. The Hotel of South Beach- Miami, Florida (26% of savings)
  9. Bahia Resort Hotel- San Diego, California (22% of savings)
  10. Mayflower Park Hotel- Seattle, Washington (24% of savings)
