Hershey Company is releasing a new fourth candy bar flavor with a major difference from the past three, it has no chocolate.
The new Hershey's Gold bars are made with crushed peanuts, pretzels and caramelized creme. It has been more than two decades since the company released a new flavor.
Hershey's candy bars started in 1900 with the launch of the milk chocolate bar. The Special Dark chocolate bar followed in 1939 and 56 years later Hershey's introduced the Cookies 'n Creme bars.
The new bar is apart of the brand's sponsorship of Team USA in the PyongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
The new flavor will be in stores in December 2017.
