Bell County Sheriff Department arrest wanted man after police chase

The Bell County Sheriff Department said they have found a man that they were looking for that has several felonies.

The sheriff's office found Gregory Cargile driving a Dodge pick-up.  

He was apprehended by the Bell County Sheriff's Department with the assistance of the Texas Department of Public Safety after a car chase. 

Deputies said that the pursuit began on FM 439 west of Belton and ended near FM 3117 and E U.S. 190 east of Temple.

They added that the vehicle he was driving was reported missing out of Waco. 

Cargile was wanted in connection with 10 storage unit burglaries in Heidenheimer, TX. He was also wanted for an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Belton.

Deputies also said he is suspected of having committed numerous additional storage facility burglaries.

He is now in custody at the Bell County Jail facing additional charges. His bond is set at $115,000.

Additional charges of evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance have been submitted to the district attorney.
