Former probation officer indicted for oppression

A former McLennan County probation officer has been indicted on with two counts official oppression.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Michael Gutierrez asked sexual favors of two female offenders.

In one case, Gutierrez asked a female offender to show her breasts to him.

He told the woman, “You’re going to make me want to pay your probation fees.”

The affidavit said the woman refused, and she requested to be assigned to another probation officer.

In the other case, the female offender said Gutierrez told her if she was going to “piss dirty” to let him know, and he would not drug test her.

The woman was violating her probation by smoking marijuana and was afraid if she quit sending text messages and photos that exploited her in a sexual manner that he would drug test her.
