Limestone County Deputy Tracy Edwards is back on duty after recovering from being attacked while working security last year.
Edwards was injured while working as security at a Waco nightclub in Nov. 2016.
Edwards was trying to break up a fight inside the club when two suspects attacked the deputy from behind, causing him to fall down the stairs.
Edwards suffered a broken wrist and broken ankle.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said he hit the ground running and has already made two arrests.
