A large crowd packed the streets near Killeen City Hall Friday morning for the Veterans Day Parade.
The event included about 75 floats, drills by local JROTC units, and performances by some talented young dancers.
It was all to celebrate and support our veterans.
And for some, it's an event they never miss out on.
"I've been coming since I was in school. It's a family tradition, and we come every year. My dad was a veteran, and I have a lot of family that are veterans. So it's good to honor those that are in the area," Killeen resident Lesley Rodriguez said.
More than a hundred people attended the parade, which was just one of several across Central Texas.
