Police issue 16 more warrants in connection with Texas A&M fraternity member's death
College Station police have issued 16 additional warrants for six Texas A&M fraternity members that attended a party where a fraternity member died.
Police believe 19-year-old Anton Gridnev died from some sort of overdose at the Sigma Nu fraternity house. Gridnev was found not breathing and unconscious at the Sigma Nu party on Aug. 20.
Police said these warrants are the result of an exhaustive investigation into the drugs discovered at the fraternity house. The warrants range from possession of marijuana to the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
During the investigation, officers searched the house for possible illegal substances. Several people were detained, and police obtained a search warrant.
Initially, police arrested four people for drug possession.
Samuel Patterson, 21, and Michael Frymire, 20, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Christian Sandford, 18, and Ty Robertson, 21, were arrested for possession of marijuana. Several people were also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
