Slideshow: Woodway HEB suspects wanted for fraud
Police need help identifying a man connected to the HEB forged checks case. The man in the surveillance video is next to Ebony Stephens, who has already been arrested.
According to a Woodway Public Safety Facebook post, the man wearing a blue shirt in the surveillance video assisted Stephens with cashing fake IRS checks at HEB.
Two suspects in the HEB check forgery case, Pamela Schronk and Catisha Stevenson, turned themselves in on Tuesday.
Police are still looking for suspect Tyrice Irby, who has a pending warrant. Juanita Puryear has been listed as a person of interest, meaning authorities would like to talk to her because she has information that can help with the case.
Officers from Woodway, Hewitt and Robinson arrested six out of 10 suspects on Monday in connection with over $67,000 worth of fraud checks that were cashed at the Woodway HEB.
All checks were cashed within a 24-hour period and ranged from $6,000 to $7,000 a check, according to authorities.
"We get forgeries but to get 10 checks in one day totaling an excess of $67,000, that's pretty unusual for Woodway," said Woodway Public Safety Director Zakhary.
The Woodway Public Safety Department doesn't believe the ten suspects distributed the forged checks or worked as a group.
"We think the person delivering or passing the checks is strongly connected to all of them, but we are not sure the ten suspects we have are actually in any way interrelated at this time," said Zakhary said.
Police anticipate the investigation to expand with the additional information obtained after the arrests.
"We think there would be additional arrests and we also believe we gained additional information on possibly where these checks are coming from," Zakhary said.

Many of the initial addresses for the suspects were from Hewitt, but upon further investigation, authorities realized most of them had moved. Woodway, Hewitt and Robinson police executed arrest warrants on Monday and transported the suspects to the McLennan County Jail. One suspect was arrested as far as Corsicana.
Police are asking for the public's help in finding the remaining suspects. If you have any information or know the whereabouts of the suspects, please contact Detective Brummett at the Woodway Public Safety Department at 254-772-4470.
