Texas sisters divided at Final Four

TAMPA, FL — The Stubbs sisters are Texans through and through, but they aren't rooting for the same teams at Tampa's Women's Final Four.

"We like great players and great coaches and great teams so we're going for UCONN -- and I just love Baylor -- and I love Tennessee for Pat Summit," laughed the sisters.

Cynthia Stubbs is the Tennessee fan, but has adopted UCONN. Debbie -- now Henson -- and Sandra (Combs) are natural UCONN fans while Melissa is the lone sister pulling for Baylor's green and gold.

"I love spending time with my family, even though they cheer for the wrong team," explained Melissa with a smile. "But ultimately we're all sisters so it's all good. We played basketball together growing up and we love coming to watch basketball."

So what happens if the two teams meet? Well the sisters couldn't answer that one at a time.

"We spanked UCONN in January in Waco. We got a new game plan. Repeat -- repeat. We're ready for your two bigs. Towers of Power baby. Nope, we're covering them up. Covering them up."

Baylor plays Oregon in its Final Four game Friday night at 6 p.m. CTD.
