WACO, TX — Senior point guard Makai Mason says his injured foot will not keep him from playing against Iowa State.
Head coach Scott Drew, played the situation a little closer to the vest.
"It's going to depend what our trainers say he can and can't do out there, but obviously you want a guy with experience."
Baylor's training staff kept Mason off the court at Kansas due to an injured toe that just won't heal.
"It's been the same for like a month," said Mason, "You have to manage it and get through the rest of the season as best you can."
Senior classmate King McClure is supposed to play as well despite his own nagging injuries.
Baylor will play Iowa State in the Big 12 Quarterfinals at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
