WACO, tx — Baylor women's basketball may have captured their 9th straight regular-season Big 12 title, but that doesn't mean their work is over.

"You never want to share a title," said head coach Kim Mulkey. "We want to win every game we have left to play."

Those games left to play are no joke either. Three of the four remaining games on the Lady Bears schedule -- (20) Iowa State, (19) Texas, and West Virginia -- are against teams still trying to tie Baylor for the title and ISU/WVU are on the road.

"I think that's a good thing," added Mulkey, "We want to play the best. We're thinking about the tournament."

Just because Mulkey is thinking big picture doesn't mean she isn't focused on the Cyclones this Saturday. She just already knows what to expect.

"Threes, threes, and more threes. But we see that all the time."

Familiarity could breed complacency, but this is Ames, IA we're talking about.

"They always lead our league in attendance. It's always a tough place to play."

The Lady Bears are scheduled to tip off in Ames Saturday at 3 p.m.
