WACO, TX — Five more Baylor student-athletes have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 13.
The testing is part of the university's "Re-United" campaign, which outlines the athletic department's protective protocol.
Thirteen student-athletes have tested positive for the virus since the beginning of the campaign. Ten cases are active, six of those being symptomatic and the other four being asymptomatic.
The university says 20 cases are being monitored, which includes primary contacts and tests that are pending.
