WACO, TX — Wil London placed fourth with a time of 45.22 in the finals of the 400 meters Thursday evening at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
London finished .15 behind fellow Team USA member Justin Robinson (45.07), who took home the bronze medal. Columbia’s Anthony José Zambrano won the gold medal with a time of 44.83, while Jamaica’s Demish Gaye earned the silver (44.94).
London is set to run in the semifinals of the men’s 4x400-meter relay Friday at 3:10 p.m. CT.
Former Baylor distance standout Lauren (Hagans) Paquette will also run Friday at 6:20 p.m. CT in the women's 5,000 meters.
