WACO, TX — Wil London clocked a time of 45.47 Thursday in the first round of the 400 meters to move on to the semifinals at the 2019 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
London took third in his heat to earn an automatic bid to the semifinals, recording the ninth-best time overall in the first round. The semifinals are set for Friday at 7:14 p.m. CT.
In the women’s 10,000 meters, Maggie Montoya registered a personal-best time of 33:40.85 to finish in 13th place.
Tiffani McReynolds will also be in action Friday as the first round of the women's 100-meter hurdles is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. CT.
