KILLEEN — Hosted by the renowned Ink Masters, the ninth annual Killeen Tattoo Expo was held this weekend. Of the thousands who attended, the people we spoke to were there in honor of their late loved ones.

Melody Marrufo was in attendance to get what she described as a larger tattoo than she ever anticipated getting, though the reason was also something she did not see coming. Last year, Marrufo lost her 12 year old son, so she decided this weekends event was time.

This is the right time to get it...its just for my son, that is why I get it

Another in attendance, Robert Randle, was there to get an additional tattoo. He said this tattoo is his most meaningful one, honoring his late father.

The three day exposition left many with new ink, dawning the memories of those they want to keep with them for all their days to come.
