WACO, TX — Bubba's 33 is holding a fundraiser on Wednesday, Aug. 5 for local breweries in Waco.

7 different bars and breweries have banned together to form Craft Waco. As there are some that have been hit the hardest, being forced to close completely during the pandemic.

Bare Arms Brewery has only been open for a total of three weeks since March 17th. Even if they wanted to try and plan for the future, it's hard to do so when they have no idea what's coming next.

"We can't plan we can't make arrangements for things like the future, even events we can't really plan," Yackley said.

The biggest help the community can do is simply asking for their local craft beer at their favorite restaurants.

"First off we ask the restaurants in town to add more local craft beers to their taps ad also ask customers to ask for their local craft," Yackley said.

Right now, many breweries are hanging on by their restaurant sales.

The fundraiser at Bubba's 33 is from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. where 10% of each ticket sale will then be split among 7 different breweries.

Those 7 are Bare Arms Brewery, True Love Bar, Waco Ale Co., Dancing Bear Pub, Brotherwell Brewery, Southern Roots and Barnett's Public House.

If you can't make the fundraising event, there is a Go Fund Me page where again the money will be split for these breweries.
