Walmart is now making it easier for customers to access their stimulus check securely and affordably.
The grocery chain announced that they have waived monthly maintenance fees on their Walmart MoneyCard Reloadable Debit Card, now through June 30.
They are encouraging customers to setup direct deposit and receive stimulus funds electronically.
The offer applies to new MoneyCard customers who deposit $500 or more to their account. This eliminates the need for customers to risk their safety by leaving their home to cash or deposit their stimulus checks.
Customers can sign up for an account at WalmartMoneyCard.com and receive immediate access to bank account information, which you'll need to set up your direct deposit. Once the account is set up, a personalized debit card will be shipped in 5 to 7 business days.
