MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX — Many auto insurance companies are offering money back, or discounts, due to less wrecks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Social distancing and stay at home orders have led to less people on the roadways, and with less people have come less auto accidents.
According to data from TxDOT, there has nearly been a 25% decrease in wrecks in McLennan County when comparing March and April of 2019 to March and April of 2020.

- Texas Farm Bureau
Many of the people who have paid in full will be receiving a discount on their upcoming payments.
Some smaller insurance companies are also offering specials on auto insurance during this time as well.
