KILLEEN, TX — Raising Cane's is opening its first restaurant in Killeen on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and hopes the community will come and celebrate.
On opening day, the restaurant will be holding a drawing to award 20 customers (13 and older) with Free Cane's for a Year! Entries to win will be accepted starting at 8:30 a.m. and the drawing will be held between 9 and 10 a.m.
Also, the first 100 dine-in customers to buy a meal will get free limited-edition Raising Cane's T-shirt and a voucher for a free combo box!
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to give Caniacs in Killeen a Raising Cane’s to call their own,” said Area Leader of Restaurants Mark Strouse.
Raising Cane's also plans to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Local high school cheerleaders will be at the event to pump up the crowd, and 106.3 FM will be on-site between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
“We’ve assembled an amazing crew and the new restaurant is in the perfect location, right down the street from Ft. Hood," said Strouse. "We look forward to getting more involved and becoming an integral part of the community.”
The restaurant will be located at 1035 S. Fort Hood St. in Killeen. The new location is the fourth Raising Cane’s in the Temple/Killeen area. The new Raising Cane’s hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight.
