UPDATE
One man is dead and another man is fighting for his life in the hospital following an officer-involved shooting in North Killeen.
According to Killeen PD, officers responded to a domestic dispute in the area of 900 Southside Drive.
When they arrived on scene they found a male victim suffering from stab wounds and another male holding a knife.
According to police, the two men were brothers, and the officer is a five-year Veteran of the force, and has been out on administrative leave per protocol.
Police say an officer fatally shot the man holding the knife. The stab victim is currently in critical condition.
The other officer on the scene did not fire his weapon — authorities will not be releasing the names of the victims at this time.
According to Killeen PD, the Texas Rangers have taken over this investigation.

Killeen Police have opened an investigation into an officer-involved shooting, the department posted on Facebook Friday morning.
According to the post, the shooting happened in the area of 900 Southside Drive.
Officials are also asking residents to avoid the area.
