TEMPLE, TX — Wings, Pizza N Things has seen almost half of their sales fall due to Covid-19. Thankfully, they've been able to keep 90 percent of their staff, and they couldn't ask for a better group of people to help get them through this time.

Owners, Mike and Jessica Dent, couldn't be more proud of everyone's adaptability to this new life style.

"We always tell our staff, how thankful we are for all their hard work. everybody's World has been turned upside down but everyone seems to be adjusting well," Jessica Dent said.

Although they have been able to keep most of their staff, they are grateful for the customers that are helping them with their daily income.

If you ask any server, they rely on those tips that the customer leaves.

"The community support has been amazing the tips have been great," Jessica Dent, said.

Although the tips are great and moral is high, Mike Dent can't help but feel a sense of loneliness walking into work.

"When you come in, and we don't turn on all the TV's we don't have that hustle and bustle of all the people," Mike Dent, said.

Offering curbside pickup and delivery they say they are winging each day that comes but they're ready to get back to the way it was before.

"I don't like the new normal, I like what we had but I certainly appreciate what we've learned out of this," Mike Dent said.
