WACO, TX — World Cup Cafe has been happily serving the Waco community since 2006. Since the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions, they had to move from their brick and mortar to a more mobile location.

"For something so small a lot more work goes into it than I thought would," Manager, Brooke Landry said.

In their food truck, they work hard in the smaller space, and they're needing the communities help more than ever.

"Saturday was pretty slow which is different than being at the cafe because that's typically our busiest day," Landry said.

It's been a big change for both Landry and Kitchen Manager Henry Patterson. The customers make all the obstacles worth it.

"I've met a lot of people in this short time that I've been here so it's been really rewarding," Patterson said.

Serving up breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. - they have the biggest hearts cooking for the ones who stop by.

"I wanna pray for everybody, that we continue to be prayerful and grateful for the things that we do have," Patterson said.

If you would like to visit the World Cup Cafe food truck, Urban Edibles, they are located behind the Jubilee Food Market Monday-Saturday.
