KILLEEN, TX — Gatti's Pizza in Killeen is hoping to make dinner more fun!
Keeping kids entertained day to day might be a little more difficult as they are cooped up at home.
Co-Owners Nancy Hannigan and Maci Robertson wanted others to see what it's like to be them. Hannigan says it goes even beyond rolling out the dough and making your pepperoni masterpiece.
"Then we kind of thought with all the home schooling going on this is a math project, this is a science project this is an art project," Hannigan said.
Sadly, Gatti's Pizza is one of many businesses that had to lay off some employees. Even though they had to lay off some, they're ensuring they will hire everyone back.
"Everybody will have a job when this is all over, everybody plans on coming back it will be back to our regular hours regular staff. Everything will be back to normal," Robertson said.
It's the business they are getting each day that is helping them keep their hopes alive for the future. With the help of the take home pizza kits, more profit is able to come in.
A cheese pizza kit costs $10 and $12.99 for a one meat topping kit.
Dessert pizzas are also available at $7.99 each.
You do not have to call ahead to pick up a kit. They also have family packs available including salads and pasta.
