WACO, TX — Waco Goat Yoga has adapted its business model to the restraints of the Covid-19 Pandemic. With restrictions, offering goat yoga became difficult and owner, Kristen Rowin, decided to bring the goats to you!
Offering Goat-A-Grams, you get your own personal time with one of their baby goats, Piper or Pebbles.
"I've never heard of something so unique and so I just thought this would be a great idea to have in Waco," Rowin said.
They'll bring the goats anywhere in Waco. Some of their favorite spots include nursing homes, schools and the occasional surprise Goat-A-Gram.
"Such a great experience to see people be so happy to deliver happiness to people to deliver smiles to people," Rowin said.
Assistant Principal of Woodgate Intermediate School, Kim Hawkins, received her Goat-A-Gram as a gift. She was nominated to receive the surprise by her community.
"I was very excited I'm an animal lover at heart and this is just priceless for me it makes my day," Hawkins said.
It's been hard on her and the teachers at Woodgate, as they wrap up the end of the school year without their students.
"It's just a little bit of sunshine that can brighten our day as we prepare for next year," Hawkins said.
Anyone could use the smile, sunshine and joy during times like this and that's why when Goat Yoga was canceled Rowin didn't want to take away all the happiness.
"We're there in hard times and good times," Rowin said.
