TEMPLE, TX — The Warm Cookie Company is the first cookie delivery service in the Temple and Bryan area.
Since the stay and home order due to COVID-19, their deliveries have increased while walk-ins decreased - but they can't thank their customers enough for the support.
Tamra Wood stops by when she needs to satisfy her craving, and as she is still employed working as a Vocational Nursing Instructor, she wants to make sure she's supporting those struggling to stay afloat.
"I think its important for those of us who still have jobs to do our part and contribute," Wood said.
The owner of The Warm Cookie Company, Robert Farnham, has always had a knack for baking the sweet treat. Starting the business in 2017, it was his friends who supported him to take the next step, and he's thrilled to see the support continue as times become tough.
"The community is definitely concerned about small businesses and we hear it all the time that they're hear to support us and keep us in business," Farnham said.
Not only offering cookies but nitrogen ice cream as well. They have your "cant just have one bite" treats. Although ice cream is yummy as the weather gets warmer, nothing is beating their tried and true.
"If we sell 12 chocolate chips, we'll sell one of the other cookies," Farnham said.
This has always been a dream of Farnham. He used to be in the restaurant business and although he's never dealt with situations like this he won't stop delivering cookies.
