WACO, TX — Sironia has been in Waco for decades, a vendor filled store that has anything from forward fashion clothing to hand soap.
Co-owner, Holly Harris loved shopping in the store when she was a kid. Sironia closed down for a few years in between but Harris decided it was time to reopen a store loved by many.
For 16 years she's loved meeting new people from around the community and tourists too.
The pandemic hit Sironia hard, having to close for two months, Harris is not only making a living for herself but supporting the vendors in her store too.
"Then we have ones that are little and kind of just do this as a hobby and some of them this is truly their livelihood and we just love our Sironia family," Harris said.
Finally able to open their doors again, they make sure to clean down everything in sight. Harris is doing anything she needs, to remain open.
"If that means we have to wear a mask for a year so that we're open, that's great, we're happy to see everyone's faces," Harris said.
Harris is excited to be working again but even more thrilled to be meeting with those who stop by.
"I'm excited to hear about your life and excited to reconnect and it's just the people that make all of this worthwhile," Harris said.
Sironia is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can follow them on their Facebook pagefor updates on all their products.
