WACO, TX — Samson Professional Movers have entered a slower than normal "busy" season.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, they have had to enhance sanitation protocols, and work around the growing pandemic.

Even though many have canceled or pushed back moving dates, Paul Lasater didn't have the option to wait it out.

"We were already committed to build so ya know we just had to figure out a way to do within the confines of this pandemic," Lasater said.

He chose to hire Samson to help with his moves because he felt safe with how they're handling the current situation.

Reginald Benns is the owner of Samson, which stands for Strong Active Men Supporting Our Neighbors.

They've continued to keep their doors open for people who still need to move like Lasater.

"Whatever it may be, we still wanted to be in position to serve them," Benns said.

Along with wearing gloves and face masks they are doing a lot to keep the movers and homeowners safe.

"On a daily basis we're making sure to we disinfect all of our moving trucks as well as our moving equipment before they ever arrive to the move site," Benns said.

Of course the worry still sits in Benns mind. He's hoping that his business picks up soon.

Until then, Benns is choosing to continue to stay open, no matter what.
