WACO, TX — Vietnomz Mobile Cuisine has only been open for a month. Owner Hau Bui was out of a job and he needed to make ends meet. He's always wanted to open his business and was already in the process of opening Vietnomz.
Bui has mastered the Vietnamese cuisine and has always loved cooking with family. He wanted to bring that love to the Waco community.
"There's not very big Vietnamese food options around here, so I wanted to bring something different to, ya know, Waco," Bui said.
Operator and only coworker Sarah Delvosque didn't expect to be working through a pandemic but they've adapted. They're sanitizing, washing their hands and doing so much more to keep you safe.
Delvosque and Bui have loved working on the truck, and cooking for the community is their ultimate joy.
"We just want to provide good food to our community made with love in the best possible way we can do it," Delvosque said.
Vietnomz is open Tuesday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. They're open Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can find their food truck at 601 S 11th St. in Waco.
