MARLIN, TX — Girlfriend's Therapy Junk Market in Marlin had to close for 45 days due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Owner, Vistoria Randolph knew she couldn't go without work for that long and started to make and sell homemade masks.

A product she knew that was in high demand in times like today.

"We survived by making masks," Randolph said.

Recently being able to open her doors again, she is continuing to make masks but happy to be selling her antique items as well.

"We had a fantastic week, we were really excited," Randolph said. "I was scared at first because I didn't know if we would survive but I think we're going to make it."

Randolph has 10 vendors in her junk market and thousands of items to look through, there's sure to be something for everyone and Randolph is making sure to keep everyone safe while shopping.

"I know when they [vendors] bring stuff in, it is clean. I go through on a daily basis and spray the shop down," Randolph said.

Thanks to Randolph's dedication and the community support she's able to survive another week.

"Small businesses like mine we'll survive with the support of our community and I've been very fortunate to have my businesses here in Marlin and the community has come out and supported us," Randolph said.
