BELTON, TX — Bold Republic Brewery is continuing to look at each day with a glass half full.
They stopped serving food for the time being and focused on beer-to-go efforts instead.
"This basically turned our business model on its head," co-owner Adrian Hodges said.
They already served beer-to-go before the pandemic hit Central Texas, but they would only sell a few four packs a night. Now - they're canning a few hundred.
"Belton is a great community and the beer community is just the best people you can ever deal with it," Hodges said.
Being a mom and pop brew pub in a small town has its perks according to co-owner Robert Hodges.
"We really get to meet people or know people and see them out at the grocery store randomly. It's really cool and builds that community vibe," Hodges said.
Owners Adrian and Robert Hodges are more than thankful for the community support. Since the restrictions were put in place, Robert Hodges couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
"We're eternally grateful I feel like we're cashing in on a lot of blessings right now and we really look forward to repaying this community coming forward," Hodges said.
