OGLESBY, TX — Barnard Beef Cattle Company has been adapting daily to the pandemic. Between fluctuating beef prices and having enough cattle to sell, they started selling direct to consumers.

Usually, Barnard Beef would sell wholesale, and they're realizing with the pandemic prices it's beneficial to just sell freezer beef to their customers.

Owner, Blayr Barnard says it's been so much fun to get to know her customers and community even more.

"One of the really cool things is people are taking the beef that they bought from us, and making into their own family recipes," Barnard said.

Barnard saw the need for beef in her community and surrounding ones, she decided to sell freezer beef so it could be easier on you to find that meal you need.

"It was more of something to do for our community, and now we're selling 25 to 30 head a month," Barnard said.

Barnard Beef is all about giving back to their community, they are constantly running specials and looking for new ways to serve.
Their next big event is "Get a little, Give a little."

They have 650 pounds of ground beef to sell, and communities that by 100 pounds of beef, Barnard will donate 25 pounds to the local food pantry.

You can follow them on their Facebook page for when the "Get a Little, Give a Little" event is to start and for more offers and deals.
