In March, one local couple found a way to help the community feel safe from COVID-19.

They provided a line of ultraviolet sanitation products through their new business ASA Technologies.

"We thought, if there is something we can do to help that nobody else was doing, that is what we want to do," said owner Bo Evans.

Using their products is simple.

"You drop in your mask, your phone, your wallet and you can sanitize for a couple of minutes," said Evans.

Evans says their products make it simple and effective to sanitize items from dangerous germs and viruses.

"We started this company to help and make a difference during this time and in the future," said Evans.

Evans says they've reached out to businesses, schools and people throughout the community to figure out if their products are wanted in Central Texas.

"And that is what we have been focused on these last 6 months. It's getting out there and seeing what business owners are dealing with. We want to help local businesses stay open, and we want to help consumers feel confident about where they are going," said Evans.

They already have big plans ahead, like expanding their product line.

"We expect by the first quarter of 2021 that we will be able to roll out a full line of apparatus units," said Evans.

Units they believe will help people feel safe from any virus wherever they go.
