WACO, TX — Alpha Omega has been in business in Waco for 4 years and they've loved every second of it. Bringing authentic Greek food to Central Texas this is the spot to get the best gyro.
"I was born and raised in Greece, and then we came to the states in 2000," Owner, Dorothy Lentis said.
With Greek roots, Lentis wanted to bring some culture to the area. They've done a great job as frequent customer Kyle Kriegel says.
"I saw this was opening because I knew I liked it already and sure enough it's great," Kriegel said.
A business owner himself he's understanding what these small businesses are going through so he's trying to help any way he can.
"That's a very hard thing to stomach and a very hard thing to got through because you've put so much time into your business so much effort so much planning," Kriegel said.
Like every restaurant, Alpha Omega has taken a hit. They've enjoyed finally letting customers back in to enjoy their food. Thanks to those like Kriegel and many more stopping by for their homemade baklava Lentis is thankful to see another day for Alpha Omega.
"We feel lucky to ya know keep our doors open and keep doing what we love to do," Lentis said.
