FRANKLIN, MA — The Franklin Police Department has been collecting toys for children ahead of the holidays for the Santa Foundation.

But then - a few toys went missing. Who was the Grinch?

The police department was on the case. They reviewed camera surveillance footage, and they quickly identified a suspect. He was blonde, fluffy and walked on four legs.

The culprit was Ben - the department's therapy dog. Ben, being the good boy that he is, assumed the gifts were all for him because of all of his work this year.

Ben was banned from the donation room, and the toys were replaced. We can never know for sure, but the department still thinks he is a good doggo.
