United Way of Central Texas answers COVID-19 questions with 2-1-1 call center

Everyone is seeking answers during these trying times, and United Way of Central Texas wants you to know they can help get you the answers you need.

The 2-1-1 call center at United Way of Central Texas is answering over 600 calls a day from people seeking help and answers.

They are an information referral call center that helps connect people with the information and resources they need as accurately and quickly as possible.

They say times like these is when resources like theirs is more important than ever.

“Yeah, I think there is a lot of questions coming from the community and people don’t know where to turn. And so, the great thing about 2-1-1 information referral network is that we’re able to give people that piece of mind in that there is someone in the community that can help me and here’s where to go,” said Aly McMillan, VP of community impact at the United Way Central Texas.

The 2-1-1 call center is available 24-hours a day and can help get you information on everything from community help programs and tax services while connecting you with the professional services like doctors.
